 ally, nationally, and locally. ASEAN remains divided among its members and 
 paralyzed by the principle of non-interference. The Indo-Pacific has become
  a strategic arena where states pursue divergent objectives in Myanmar: Chi
 na has deepened its “stability-investment-influence” narrative, Russia has 
 supplied limited arms shipments, India has floated a “neighbourhood-first” 
 development package, and Thailand is promoting its mediation model. Yet rec
 ent public protests throughout Southeast Asia signal growing pressure for a
  unified stance on the Myanmar crisis, while diaspora-led lobbying campaign
 s and cross-border student networks keep the democratic agenda alive. Myanm
 ar’s present trajectory is shaped simultaneously by regional institutional 
 constraints, external great power strategies, and the resilient agency of i
 ts civil society and diaspora. Understanding how these three vectors intera
 ct is essential for scholars, policymakers, and activists seeking viable pa
 thways toward stability and democratic renewal in Myanmar.
